image

Thank you always for visiting, this is Nagame.

We finished 119 th activity.

Last week I overslept, so I went to bed early as possible in order to get up early definitely.

This week we had 12 members.

Mr. & Mrs. S joined after a long time.

Mr. S picked up wallet while picking up trush, then said "If we did not do clean-up activity, the person who
lost this wallet might be in trouble. It is great to do clean-up."

I realized that we contributed to something except cleaning town.

Let's reflect the possible stories on clean-up activity.

1>The next day of rain there were a lot of umbrellas.
=> I think there were more than 10 umbrellas. Most of all they could be reusable while some were broken and worn out.

2> On the rain day, I could hardly move forward due to heavy plastic bags that took three times as of its weight due to soaked rain water.
=> The damped garbage are truly heavy. Many a little makes a mickle??? LOL

3> The place I cleaned up once was soon to be found the garbage on the road again.
=> I found big one on the second stage. Good for me to get the second chance!

I talked with E-san from Holland after a long absence.

I asked him about UK's leaving from EU.

The purpose of EU is allowing business brisked up and it is good no customs duty.
It seems well done from the economical point of view, but he thinks it is not
well done among the people who live there.
The way of thinking is different between island country and continental country. Geramn and French are having good relationships due to connecting by land.
UK is island country, so that the way of thinking is slightly different.

I am so glad to hear the direct comment from who is close to the local area on time.
Without this activity, I could not meet E-san so that I thank for this, too.

Well, thanks for the people who join the Nagoya Shinsengumi, I enjoyed a lot for cleaning.
Thank you, thank you so much always!!

Time flies so quickly, here comes the Sunday.
We have 11 people today.  Thank you for coming!
Nagame san was absence (due to some reason), but  his friend's wife, T-san joined for the first time.
Recently it gets humid and dump so that there seemed empty plastic bottles or cans were scattered here and there.
For being afraid of flood in case of heavy rain, S-san concentrated
on cleaning grating, square on a grid and L-type ditch.
At 6:50 after clean up, we gathered in front of the Nakamura Police Station and shared the awareness among members.
Enjoyed the breakfast with 10 members.
A new member, T-san has a bit western accent. That's why she came from Osaka.  Then, we enjoyed the difference between Osaka and Aichi on the most particular ones. (Ex. handling desk, Cold Coffee (REIKO?!, iced coffee), Macdo, Macdonald, Mac, ,,, There were differences region to region.
Even though we say the same thing, but it is slighltly different. That is interesting!
A-san, a long time no see him, enjoyed moutain climbing with his
students who were in the previous school. About 30 members climbed mountain carrying with tent. A-san is an English teacher of Junior high school and
this year it takes two hours to travel to the school.  It seemed very tough.
M-san told us cleaning activity at the Zuiryuji Temple in TOYAMA pref.
He always worked so hard.  I look forward to joining this activity in some day.
S, a junior high school student in the third grade, sat next to Y-sensei to
ask science questions.  Y-sensei was so kind to teach her how to solve the questions.
What ever it is, when the people want to do something, our SHINSENGUMI members are so calm and gentle to help with us.
Thanks again.

Today we have 11 people together.
It's a cloudy morning, but I feel so fresh. Some members joined after a long time interval.

We shared the things we noticed after the activity.
Y-chan, a third grade of  high school, said "No one spoke to me directly, but I felt I was seen by
someone around me.  So that, I hope to let someone  notice  people picking up garbages and
to imput their mind not any garbage left on the road.  " What a great learning!
K-san & Y-san, the master of cleaning, mentinoned " Sweeping is the best way to clear on the road."
U-san, newly marriaged, said he would like to bring his wife next time.
It is so nice to have more and more pepole!

For the morning breakfast meeting, there wer 9 people.
We sat at the large table and talked about the "Sweeping is the same meaning as praying for the God" explained by K-san.  We connected invisible things through clean-up activity.
There is a way you are invited.
Everybody welcome.  You can enjoy it!

あまりにも降らないので先日の大掃除の時にカッパを捨ててしまいました(^^;;

image

Hello!

This is Nagame.

Thank you for #116th Nagoya Shinsengumi activity for picking up garbage on the street.

Today is "Rain" for the first time in a while.

It is very famous for no rain during the Shinsengumi is on the duty.

Maybe 10 times? out of 100 times or so. This is my image.

*You may count the rainy days looking back on the previous blog if you are free.

Such a long time for no rain, I threw my rain coat away in the last clean-up activity.

It was so hard to do clean-up activity with holding umbrella in one hand.

I feel necessity of rain coat.

Experts ? were great. They wore cap not to remove the hood with clip for rain coat and cap.

If there is no clip for the rain coat, the hood will be removed easily. And face gets wet and needs to fix

frequently. It is very tough, though.

So and so, we had a really good time with 10 members in total even though it was raining.
N san joined before her work.
Thank you for coming!

On rainy day, usually plastic bag gets heavy. It really does.

Carrying bag is so hard.

At the usual gathering space, there were a lot of garbage I could not bring them all.
Then, some member came and helped me. Thanks to them, it cleared soon.

I am very happy for their help.

We enjoyed many topics at the breakfast meeting.

Yes, it is really fun as always. One of us just starts a new challenge.

It makes me feel strongly to challenge something.

Wishing clear day for the next week.

See you then,

Nagame
